Peanut adopted July 2010. But we have more. Click here.
These are the candybar kittens because they are all so sweet. We have a orange male tabby named Butterfinger, calico female named Reeses, light buff color male named Heath, black and white male named AJ (Almond Joy) (he has pretty blue eyes), white with light tan marking male named Hersey (he also has blue eyes) grey female(?) named Kit Kat and a little grey tabby who is the runt of the litter named Peanut. These guys were bottled feed since they were one week old because their mother was killed and then the owners thought it would be to hard to find families so they took them to a high kill shelter. They were schedule to be put down until one of our volunteers pulled them. Please call if you would like more information about these sweet babies.

Adopt-a-mail from Gracey Anne's family
"Gracey Anne is simply a phenomenal animal. She is sweet, submissive, all
smiles and eager to please. She loves to play, but quiets down so quickly.
She is wonderful with my granddaughter, Macy, who is 4. Macy was feeding
both Gracey and Rescue Boy treats and they were both sitting and getting the treats and loving her! Except for her shedding, so far she is the "perfect"
animal :-) I haven't tried to brush her yet - just letting her settle in.
She slept very well her first night. She started off in the bed with me,
but moved to the floor not too long after. She had a big cushion for a bed,
but she chose the rug on the floor :-) She is just great!"
Most sincerely,
Debbie

I am hearing the Stevie Wonder song, "isn't she lovely..."
Lovely (aka Lady) is an easy going girl that is about 3 to 5 years old. She is needing a home where she can kick back and watch the world go by. She is very mellow and does great around other dogs and kids. She has had a hard start in life and now deserves to be treated as the princess that she is. How can you not love that sweet face? She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative and spayed. Please call if you would like more information about Lovely or would like to set a time to meet her. Lovely is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.

Adopt-a-mail from Callie's family
Hey!
Callie is doing great! She's getting so big!
She follows me just about everywhere in the house. When I shower in the mornings, she sits in front of the shower door and "freaks" at the squeegie when I clean it. :)
She licks EVERYTHING! I haven't quite figured that out yet.
We actually started training at PetSmart, but I broke my foot after two classes so we've had to postpone completing the class. Hopefully that will heal before too long and we can get back to our walks......we were walking about 3 times a day and visiting the dog park quite often. She loves to ride in the car!!
Hope all is well and that you enjoy the pics. Callie says HEY!!!

Check out this handsome fellow
Petey is a white with brindle pit mix. He is very sweet. He was very skinny and under nourished when he came to our rescue but thanks to his foster mom, he is now fat and happy. Please call us if you would like to meet this gentle soul or if you would like more information on Petey. Petey is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
