Sarah was found wandering in the cold. She was taken in by a nice lady and brought to us so we could bring her current on vaccinations and have her spayed. She is very timid at first like a typical greyhound but once she feels comfortable with you she is the sweetest thing!! She loves to snuggle on the couch and does very well on a leash. She is getting along very well with her new foster brothers and sisters and even likes the cat. If you would like to meet Sarah please contact her foster mom at 615-260-4379 or hopeshavenpetrescue@gmail.com **********Sarah's Adoption Fee is $75.00************* Sarah is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Cotton Candy's new foster mom can not say enough good things about her. Her quote" we have an angel in our midst". No surprise...this Angel has been adopted 1/3/2010.

Successful Day at Home Town Village Craft Fair
Thank you all for your generous donations, and purchases. We even found a new foster family, and just in the nick of time. We received a call of a found puppy wandering the streets. Joe took him by Vet Med Animal Health, and then out to us at the craft fair. Now he's with his foster home, waiting to be adopted. Here's a pic of this little guy.

A Pet's Prayer
To Those Who Love & Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have each shown.
But now it is time I traveled alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart,
I will not be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home".

Reunited!
On Sunday, September 27th our little Smokey Joe was reunited with his daddy!! His name is actually Peaches and he is 15 years old!! His dad has been looking for him since September 18th. Someone broke into his apartment and kicked the door in and poor Peaches ran out. The man lets Peaches sleep with him every night so he missed him a whole lot. When we reunited the two of them Sunday night the man squeezed Peaches so tight and asked, "Where have you been buddy?" The man was almost in tears and you could hear it in his voice that it was all he could do not to cry. This truly was a wonderful night for everyone. If I must say so myself, I do think my Hope had a lot to do with this. She was not ready for Mr. Peaches to join her at the rainbow bridge so she helped Peaches find his way to Hope's Haven where she know he would be safe!!! Thanks everyone for a job well done!!!
Micah & Hope :)

Put a little love in your heart
Smokey Joe is an older guy that would love to have someone hold him in their lap all day long. He is very calm but still has enough spunk in him to play. He is constantly wagging his tail and always eager to greet someone new. He does well with children and other pets. He is already neutered and current on vaccinations. Smokey Joe was picked up from the streets of Nashville and would love to find his new forever home indoors and away from all that scary traffic!! If you are interested please contact his foster mom Kathy at 615-430-0616 to set up a time to meet Smokey Joe. Smokey Joe is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered
